Boomer Godsill is a 2007 3B/1B/SS with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Middleton, ID, who attends Middleton HS. Medium frame with present strength. Defensively he has nice footwork and soft hands with the ability to play multiple positions. He threw 75 mph across the infield with accuracy when he is on top of the ball. Godsill can make all the plays, and showed range at third base. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an open stance that he closes well at contact. Godsill shows good bat speed through the hitting zone with a good path to the ball. He gets a good weight shift and leverage at the point of contact. Currently he shows gap power, but he projects to hit with more power in the future. He also has good knowledge of the strike zone. Godsill is a gamer who plays hard with a wonderful attitude.
