Boyer is a 5-11 senior shortstop from Florida with a lean build and strong back. Boyer showed arm strength by throwing 77 mph across the infield. Defensively, Boyer showed nice defensive actions at shortstop. At the plate, he has a contact first approach and looks to hit the ball to right field. He showed good bat control with a high percentage of hard hit balls. Christopher showed good balance at the plate and swings with no load with quick hands. Boyer pitches as well and has a smooth effortless delivery. He threw an 81 mph fastball, 66 mph breaking ball, and a 71 mph change up. Boyer mixes his pitches well and has good offspeed stuff. He is a two-way player.
