Douglas Paider is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Glendale, NY who attends Monsignor McClancy Memorial HS. Recorded a 5.54 second 40-yard dash time. Younger lean build with lots of room and time for physical projection. Primary third baseman who bends at the waist with arm strength recorded up to 70 mph. Deliberate actions and will improve at the position with added strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch. High three-quarters arm slot with a compact delivery. Belt high leg lift and pounded the strike zone. Low effort delivery and showed a softer curveball with 11/5 break. Righthanded hitter with an inward toe tap into the stride. Short swing path, downhill swing plane, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Mostly soft line drives to the middle of the field and showed he can manipulate the barrel to work to all fields. Good student.
