Kevin Belk is a 2007 RHP with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Davenport IA, who attends North Scott HS. He has a medium, slender frame and a middle infielder's build. Belk throws from a full windup with a long, extended arm stroke in back. He has a bit of drop and drive in his delivery and his arm comes threw pretty quickly. Belk's fastball was up to 83 mph and had some tailing action when down and he got it to ride up in the zone occasionally. Belk pitched inside aggressively to right handed hitters, especially with his fastball movement helping the ball get in. Belk threw a 69 mph curveball that had a sweeping break and mixed in a couple of 75 mph change ups. He did a good job of throwing strikes, making adjustments and competing.
