2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Nolan Villaescusa is a 2022 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Legend. Lean, projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Showed smooth and soft hands to the forehand side to go along with a quick first step. His throws across the infield topped out at 78 mph. On the offensive side of the ball he hits out of a square, narrow stance with a minimal stride. Had a flat bat path through the zone which pairs well with his all-fields approach. Swing is short and adjustable and he has some bat to ball skills. Good student.
