Tyler Peterson is a 2008 OF/3B/SS with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA, who attends Centennial HS. Peterson has a good frame with long and lean look. Defensively he moves well in the outfield and comes through the ball. Peterson has arm strength with good carry, and he projects to throw harder in the near future. During game action he made a very strong throw to third base from right field. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits with a no stride approach. Peterson loads his hands well and has solid bat speed with a line drive swing plane. He gets leverage at the point of contact showing gap power that is projectable. He has the ability to catch up with the high fastball, and he has good upside to his all-around game. He is also a very good student.
