Christopher "CJ" Chatman is a 2020 1B/3B with a 5-11 235 lb. frame from Ferriday, LA who attends Vidalia HS. Recorded an 8.39 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with lots of strength well-proportioned throughout. Primary first baseman with deliberate actions and waits on the ball. Fields with two hands out in front and shows clean turns. Athletic off the bag with arm strength recorded up to 74 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Low effort trigger with a longer swing path and a long finish. Works to the pull side with good strength off the barrel. Has some strength and carry to the pull side when squared.
