Luke Sketchley is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Chief Stealth International. Big and strong athletic build. Leg raise delivery, stays tall over his backside on the rubber, works downhill with an extended 3/4's arm slot, long and loose arm action in back and coming through, has some coil over his backside. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight with occasional running action, got in a nice groove throwing his fastball for strikes. Showed a short slider with good velocity compared to his fastball and some late sharpness. Has an idea what he's doing on the mound and throws strikes. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread open body with hands far from his body, big leg lift trigger, flashes some strength at contact, best contact when pulling. Good student.
