William Scott is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'0'', 168 lb. frame from Marietta, GA, who attends Kell HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Scott has lean and athletic frame with projection. Defensively he showed great outfield actions. He moved well with fluid actions and covered a great deal of ground in game action. Scott works his way through the ball on his throws showing good arm speed and arm strength. All of the tools are there for Scott to be a top defensive outfielder at the next level. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a narrow base with an upright stance. He showed bat speed in batting practice and in game action, but he made inconsistent contact. Has the ability to hit to all fields, and has projectable power as well. He projects as a top of the order hitter who can get on base and make things happen.
