2006 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Jake Kuhn is a 2008 RHP/1B that attends Atherton HS and resides in Louisville, KY with a 6'3", 175 lb. frame. Jake has a tall athletic build with some room to fill out. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with nice run on his fastball and a solid 10 to 4 CB. Jake has a good feel for a change-up and attacks hitters on the mound. He is efficient with his pitches and knows how to pitch, but will need to add some velocity in the future. His build is ideal for a pitcher, so it easy to see improvement coming out of Jake. At the plate Jake has a line-drive swing plane and drives the ball up the middle well. Jake is a player that will attract attention from many small to mid-level college programs.
