Brayton Cardwell is a 2021 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Meadows Place, TX who attends Home School. Long and athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.32 runner, tall actions in the infield, tends to bend at the hips and get his glove down late to balls especially to his back hand, arm works well with some carry across the diamond. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a wrapped barrel start, leans back to start his swing, upper body swing with a downward swing plane, middle of the field approach. Also pitched, long and loose arm action with an extended finish, smooth and lean arm action to a 3/4's slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, more velocity there with improved strength and physical maturity. Secondary pitches are still developing. Good student.
