Trey Brooks is a 2021 OF/ with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Encino, CA who attends Windward HS. medium frame with longer limbs. Room to add solid weight and gain strength. In addition to Trey's ability on the diamond, he is also a sound student in the classroom. A primary outfielder, Trey shows solid fundamental ability. He positions quickly and confidently and plays through the fielding action with gathering momentum. He transitions smoothly and consistently to a solid throwing arm that allows his on-line throws to be highly accurate. At the plate, Trey displays a contact first, line drive mentality. His swing is top hand dominant and geared towards the middle of the field and pull side. He has a plus feel for the barrel. His approach is geared towards hitting the ball on a line and with authority. Trey approaches his game with a poise and purpose that should allow him to pursue play at the next level.
