Crawford is a right-hander from Texas with a good strong body and the arm to match. As a pitcher he showed an overhand arm slot with the ability to spot his fastball. He threw the fastball between 81-85 mph and he threw it 90 pecent of the time. His curve was in the 68 mph range and had a big round path to it, but we only saw it sparingly. His arm strength was good enough to keep batters guessing where the next location would be and he did a good job. As an infielder we think he can make the plays in the field but would have to improve the swing plane and power in his bat. There is no question with his 85 mph arm and location of the fastball he makes for an interesting prospect on the hill.
