Clinton Storr is a 2005 outfielder from Key West Florida with a good build that shows good strength at 6 ft. 0 175 pounds. He hits from a crouched stance and raises up during the swing. He showed good bat speed and control with a middle, to opposite field line drive approach. He showed strength and makes solid hard contact. He showed good athleticism with a 6.80 in the 60, and a 4.49 home to first. Defensively, he has a long arm action with decent strength. He has good instincts off the bat and can cover a lot of ground in the outfield with his foot speed. He has solid tools and he will be a very good outfielder at the next level. He needs to make some mechanical adjustments, allowing for more lower half involvement and power at the plate. He was injured during this event and we've seen much better speed and power out of him before. Big sleeper!

Clinton Storr -- Storr is a junior outfielder from Key West and one of our picks to be a real sleeper over the next couple of years. He’s an excellent athlete with present above average big league speed and lots of body life. Storr throws well enough to play any outfield position and should be a top defensive outfielder with experience. Where Storr is going to blossom is with his bat. In Fort Myers he hit from a tall no stride stance and got no use whatsoever of his lower body. Even with just an arm swing he showed a quick bat and drove a couple of balls hard. Coaches worked with him on the side to lengthen him up a bit and get his lower half involved and the results were spectacular. This kid can really whistle the bat through the zone with the proper hitting mechanics. If Storr can build on these adjustments and keep getting stronger, he could be an impact talent and possible high draft pick.
