Zach Armin is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Roncalli. Recorded a 7.12 second 60 yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with room to fill. Primary catcher with a narrow set and segmented actions, some stiffness to the operation. Throws from a low elbow slot, developing arm strength and fundamentals. Secondary outfielder, fields it off to the side with a short arm action. Carry will improve as he plays through the ball and carries his momentum into the throw. Right-handed hitter with an even hand set and base, hands drift far out from the body. Lift and replace trigger with a small weight shift back and forward. Longer and flat swing path, some solid line drive contact during the round, gets rotational at times. Excellent student.
