2021 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Tyler Fuller is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 168 lb. frame from Lewis Center, OH who attends Olentangy Orange. Long and slender build, looks taller than listed with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, gets to his front side early, downhill swing plane, has some barrel skills but would benefit from more of a line drive approach. 7.20 runner in the sixty. Plays tall on defense in the middle infield, tends to field the ball deep to his body, developing lower half actions and arm strength. Also pitched and was able to show his young arm strength better on the mound, has good arm quickness from a 3/4's arm slot, got good arm side run to a fastball that topped out at 77 mph, slider also showed good spin and some biting action. Graded out better on the mound during this showcase. Good student.
