Ryne Crum is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-11 230 lb. frame from Springfield, IL who attends Springfield. He ran a 7.85 second sixty. A primary first baseman with a medium stocky build. On the infield he showed young actions with the glove, the hands work firm out front receiving the ball, his footwork is developing and will help his arm strength as he gains a better feel for it. Left-handed hitter, utilizes a leg lift trigger, worked batter to either line with a fluid level bat path and an 85 mph exit velocity, will tap into more power with better use of the lower half. Excellent student.
