Peter Denk is a 2022 1B/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Northville, MI who attends Detroit Catholic Central. Recorded a 7.68 second sixty-yard dash time. Well-proportioned frame with plenty of time to physically mature and add strength. Primary first baseman with deliberate actions into and through the fielding process. Uses anticipatory footwork and slight waist bend to get into fielding position. Throws from an over-the-top arm slot that recorded throws up to 73 miles across the diamond in drills. Secondary third baseman with similar deliberate actions, decent turns and arm strength recorded up to 67 miles per hour in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow and larger leg lift trigger for timing. Pull-side approach with elongated swing path, some present hand quickness and impact when on time. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with potential for more power as he matures and makes proper swing adjustments. Excellent Student.
