Connoly is a Junior Left-handed pitcher with a small frame but lean body that should get stronger. He featured a good working arm action and it was noticed as soon as he took balls in the outfield. He came up throwing with a smooth and long arm stroke that appeared to be low in effort. As he took the mound he showed an 80 mph fastball and a 70-72 mph curveball. Both pitches are good ones that should further develop with added strength and arm speed. His delivery is clean and efficient.
