Avie Singleton is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Cabot, AR who attends Cabot. Smaller young athletic build. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Moves quickly to the ball in the outfield on defense and shows his young athleticism well, quick release on his throws and he makes accurate throws with projectable arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a quick leg lift trigger and a short inside swing path, has some barrel accuracy and gets the barrel out front well and moves the ball around, offensive improvement will come in proportion to how much stronger he gets. Also pitched, works from the stretch with good lower half drive to the plate, over the top arm slot, hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 72 mph. Showed good feel for a big downer curveball that he landed consistently for strikes, had a quick and efficient outing. Excellent student.
