Kenneth Walden is a 2007 1B/3B with a 5'11'', 215 lb. frame from Simi Valley CA, who attends Royal. Walden has a strong build with a thick body. Defensively, he moves well around the base at 1st and has solid actions to the ball. Walden can make the picks and also has good hands at 3B when he plays on the other side of the infield. At the plate, Walden has a nice swing with strong hands. There is some length to his swing, but he has good bat speed. Walden has good present power and can hit the ball out of the ball park, especially to the pullside. He has more power potential in there and he can handle wood. Walden looks to lift and looks to pull as well.
