Alexander Scott is a 2029 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-6 117 lb. frame from Santa Clarita, CA. Works from a lean compact frame with some present athleticism. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball with choppy footwork and the glove out in front, utilizes a shorter release point. Created carry on the throws and kept them on-target, recorded arm strength up to 70 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, starts with the hands at the chest and utilizes a chest-high leg lift. Breaks into a deep arm path and releases from a low three-quarters slot. Showed good command of his mix, the fastball has some heaviness to it with a bit of arm side run, topped it out at 67 mph. Mixed in a more traditional curveball with some good depth to it, likes to pitch backwards with it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with a high back elbow, utilizes a subtle toe tap trigger and works into a direct bat path. Showcased some promising tools with developing strength at the point of impact, produced consistent contact to the pull-side and middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 68 mph. Ran a 7.83 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
