Jax Copeland is a 2024 2B/RHP, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Litchfield Park, AZ who attends Brophy College Preparatory high school. Features a smaller, lean, athletic build. A primary infielder that got the event started with a 7.82 60-yard dash. Had the ability to make all the required plays on defense; used the proper footwork/fielding techniques and worked through the baseball with confidence. Arm action is short and his throws were accurate across the diamond with carry. Consistently barreled balls up in his BP round. Copeland sets up in a wider, slightly open stance with low hands and uses a small leg kick trigger mechanism. Shows a smooth left-handed stroke with current hand/bat speed and utilizes his core well to generate power. On the mound he was able to consistently throw strikes with his fastball and utilize his slider as his out pitch. Show the the ability to field his position.
