CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Selection Show for the 2013 Perfect All-American Classic presented by Rawlings will be streamed online on Wednesday, July 17, at 8:00 pm EST (7:00 pm CST/5:00 pm PDT).  At that point in time the 50 players that will participate in the 11th annual Classic will be announced.

A video portal will be added to this feature at that time for people from across the world to watch, and will last approximately 50 minutes.  The full 50-man roster (25 players for each team, East/West) as well as individual player profiles will be available at PGAllAmerican.com.

You can follow all of the announcements on Twitter at @PGAllAmerican.

The East vs. West match-up will feature the nation’s best high school players, battling at Petco Park for the fifth consecutive year, providing them with a rare opportunity to create Major League memories. Past alumni of this prestigious event include Nick Adenhart and Gio Gonzalez (2003), Buster Posey, Jeremy Hellickson, Andrew McCutchen and Justin Upton (2004), Madison Bumgarner, Matt Harvey, Jason Heyward and Rick Porcello (2006), Gerrit Cole (2007), Jameson Taillon and Bryce Harper (2009) and Jose Fernandez (2010). More than 70 players from previous Classics have already debuted in MLB. Six players have been selected No. 1 overall in the Major League Baseball Draft including Upton, Harper, and Cole.

Harper, Posey, McCutchen, Harvey, Bumgarner, Fernandez and Freddie Freeman were selected to the 2013 MLB All-Star Game to be played on Tuesday, July 16, at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets.

The 2013 Perfect Game All American Classic Presented by Rawlings will be televised live nationally for the first time on MLB Network, Major League Baseball’s Emmy Award-winning 24/7 cable television network.  The game will be played at 5:00 pm PDT.
