You won’t miss the 6-foot-9 lefthander on the mound, and you also wouldn’t be able to tell just how tall he is with the balance and overall ease he shows in repeating his delivery. With a quick and compact arm action Stone is able to fill up the strike zone with a fastball that works into the low-90s with obvious plane to the bottom of the zone, and he also shows a very strong feel for spinning a tight curveball in the mid-70s. Stone’s present arsenal and massive frame have led scouts to draw a comp to former PG All-American A.J. Puk.
