151. Brendon Little, lhp, Malvern Prep
L-L, 6-2/200, Malvern, Pa.
College Commitment: North Carolina

Little has a strong and mature build and throws from a high three-quarters to over-the-top arm action that produces big downhill angle on his pitches when he's working low in the strike zone. His arm action is loose and tension free and he still has some projection left despite his build. Little usually works in the 88-92 mph range but has touched as high as 95 mph this spring, big numbers for a southpaw, and the potential is there for him to settle in with a consistent low-90s fastball. Little's best secondary pitch at present is his mid-70s changeup that has lots of life which Little throws with confidence. He also throws a mid- to upper-70s curveball that will flash good depth at times.


152. Travis Lakins, rhp, Ohio State (SO)
R-R, 6-1/175, Franklin, Ohio

A true draft-eligible sophomore, Lakins has experienced an increased workload this spring as he nearly doubled his innings pitched from his freshman season to 2015. Showing durability from his 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame, Lakins is the only pitcher on the Buckeyes pitching staff to make 15 starts this spring, accruing 96 innings on the mound. With a high leg lift at the start of his delivery and a fast arm coming through, Lakins shows the ability to work both sides of the plate, mix well, and miss bats with his entire repertoire. Armed with a fastball that consistently works in the low-90s, Lakins can amp it up into the mid-90s throughout a start while spotting low to either side. The righthander is full of athleticism – as evidenced by three all-conference selections in basketball during his prep days – that allows him to both repeat his delivery and field his position at a high level. Of his four-pitch mix it’s his curveball that he shows the most comfort for working in the 70-74 mph range with big depth and 12-to-6 shape. Rounding out the arsenal, Lakins has both a slider and changeup though his fastball and curveball are his two primary pitches.


153. Devin Davis, 1b, Valencia HS
R-R, 6-2/215, Santa Clarita, Calif.
College Commitment: Loyola Marymount

Davis has had a strong spring, hitting .407-6-26 with 18 walks versus only 12 strikeouts in 28 games. He's also been a consistently strong performer on the summer and fall travel circuit, where his powerful righthanded swing has produced some big home runs in heavily scouted games against top level pitching. The PG All-American also stands out for his smooth glove work at first base and his overall athleticism. Scouts often like their first base drafts out of high school to be lefthanded hitters, and more projectable, but Davis' present tools play loudly now.


154. Braden Bishop, of, Washington (JR)
R-R, 6-1/190, Mountain View, Calif.

In terms of pure athletic ability, Bishop is right up there with anybody in the 2015 draft class. Standing at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, Bishop shows present strength on his frame and does so while maintaining the fast-twitch muscle that helps impact his overall game. A top-of-the-order bat who projects to stay in center field long-term, Bishop is an easy plus runner whose speed shows up in a game more often than not. The second member of the University of Washington to appear within the top 200, joining catcher Austin Rei, Bishop hit .295 on the spring while starting all 49 games in which he appeared. A righthanded hitter, Bishop has been a steady performer at the top of the Huskies’ lineup showing a direct path to the ball with the feel and ability spray hard line drives to all parts of the field. Going gap-to-gap allows Bishop to put his big speed on display and stretch out an extra-base, though he has also shown some power this spring hitting four home runs after never hitting one his previous two seasons. Once on base that speed becomes a factor yet again, leading the Pac-12 in stolen bases last spring before finishing fifth in the league with 15 this year. His high-end athleticism plays extremely well in center field also, showing big-time closing speed to either gap with long gliding steps after getting a solid first step.


155. Ryan Johnson, of/rhp, College Station HS
R-R, 6-3/200, College Station, Texas
College Commitment: Texas Christian

One of the higher-end two-way talents in this draft class, College Station High School’s Ryan Johnson has been intriguing scouts for quite awhile now with his ability as a position player as well as his talent on the mound. At 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, Johnson possesses a really athletic, strong build that projects well in both phases of the game. As a hitter, Johnson shows a very smooth lefthanded stroke with outstanding hands and bat speed to go along with solid present power that could project to be plus in time. He’s a very good defensive outfielder, covering lots of ground with true middle-of-the-field athleticism. He ran a 6.86 60-yard dash at last summer’s National Showcase, while throwing 92 mph from the outfield. He projects well in either center or right field at the next level. And if all of that wasn't enough, he’s also a very good pitching prospect, showing low-90s heat consistently while being clocked as high as 94 mph to go along with a developing curveball and changeup to round out his arsenal. Johnson has recently let it be known that he fully intends to honor his commitment to TCU.
