EDITOR’S NOTE: Greg Schimmel, a Connecticut resident and a student at the University of Maryland, spent his summer vacation scouting players in the Cape Cod League. Not only did he write a daily blog (capecodbaseballleague.blogspot.com) on his experience and the players he saw, but he has compiled his version of the top 100 major-league prospects from the league for PG Crosschecker, and has provided his scouting observations of those players.
