Chase Bredickas (’28, Marietta, Ga.)- the 5-foot-9, 150-pound left-handed pitcher tossed 4 1/3 scoreless innings of relief in a semi-final win over a talented Aviators Baseball 14u Ivie squad. Bredickas took the ball down 2-1 and kept the Aviators at bay until the Cougars busted out in the 7th inning for eight runs in the 9-2 victory. He ran the fastball up to 77 mph and featured a breaking ball in the mid-60s to avoid barrels and finish with a pair of strikeouts. A top performer on both sides of the ball for the Cougars, Bredickas also drove in six runs during the tournament with a double and a triple.
