Top Prospect List

1.) Jacob Mayers, RHP/3B, Hanover HS, VA-It was very difficult to find a weakness in Jacob’s performance, as he absolutely dominated hitters with three potential average to above average MLB pitches. His fastball topped out at 88, but has been up to 90 earlier in the summer. What really stands out for Jacob is his very tight 12-6 curveball and his feel for a live change-up. His pitchability is very polished for his age and Jacob also is one of the top infielders in the country. He is verbally committed to Richmond, but could attract plenty of draft attention this coming spring.

2.) Timothy Edward Butler, RHP, Greenbrier Christian Academy, VA-With a fastball that touched 90 and an arm that works well, Timothy has a lot to like on the mound. Everything works well in his clean delivery and his velocity projects well as he fills
