JUNIOR COLLEGE Top 50
Florida School Zooms to Top Spot

The first in-season ranking of the nation's Top 50 junior-college rankings, as compiled by Perfect Game in conjunction with the National Junior College Athletic Association, has seen a significant shakeup. With the top two teams in the pre-season rankings, Texas powers Howard (8-6) and San Jacinto (11-6), struggling to live up to expectations, it has opened the door for Florida's top-ranked team, Santa Fe (17-3), and another Texas school, Navarro (11-3), to move into the top two spots. Meanwhile, California's Orange Coast College has jumped into the No. 3 position after winning its first 14 games to open the 2011 season.
