Edison (Huntington Beach, CA) ascends to the number one ranking for the first time this season after improving to 11-1 on the year with a pair of victories this week. The Chargers have pitched a shutout in three of their past five games and have now won five straight since splitting a doubleheader with El Toro. Be sure to follow their matchup with Fountain Valley live via PG High School's Hittin' the Road coverage on Friday beginning at 3:15 (PST).

The two Oklahoma powerhouses Owasso and Broken Arrow each slide up a spot to numbers two and three respectively. They have a combined record of 32-1, and with Broken Arrow having knocked off a tough Yukon (OK) squad recently, the path seems to be cleared for a matchup of 1-loss top-5 teams in the nation to meet next Friday (April 15). PG High School will have in-depth live coverage of this huge matchup next week.

St. Francis (Mountain View, CA) moved up to number four following an impressive week which it knocked off fellow NorCal powerhouse Archbishop Mitty 12-3. The Lancers are now 13-1 on the year and look like the top team in Northern California, if not the nation.

Bishop Amat (CA) rounds out the top five, at 9-2 the back-to-back losses to start the season are but a distant memory for Andy Nieto's club who has looked like a serious contender for their Section Championship recently.

Archbishop McCarthy (FL) checks in at #6 and is now the top ranked team in Florida following Gulliver Prep's third loss of the year. They are followed by 7th ranked Flanagan (FL). Baton Rouge Catholic (LA) checks in at #8, while the top two finishers of the Big League Dugout National Invitational tournament; Spanish Fork (UT) and Bishop Gorman (NV) round out the top 10.

Big movers include Marist (GA) who has now climbed all the way up to 15th. Douglas (FL) is the highest ranked undefeated team remaining at #16 with a record of 15-0. Other remaining undefeateds include: 6-0 #22 Providence Catholic (IL), 14-0 #26 Wayne County (GA), 15-0 #29 Sierra Vista (NV), 3-0 #34 Cathedral (IN), 16-0 #37 Pensacola Catholic (FL), and 7-0 #48 James River (VA).
