Butler was part of a dominant pitching staff last summer at Harwich of the Cape Cod League that included the likes of Kevin Gausman (Louisiana State), Pierce Johnson (Missouri State) and Chris Stratton (Mississippi State), all righthanders projected to go in the first round of this year’s draft.
