Florida
The final Florida rankings see the two 5A finalists in the top two spots with American Heritage No. 1 and Tampa Jesuit behind them. Two more state champs are next, 6A champ Archbishop McCarthy and 8A champ Spruce Creek. Columbus ends the year at No. 5.
Other state champs in the rankings are 7A champ Venice at No. 7, 3A champ Pensacola Catholic at No. 8, and 4A Champ Providence at 17.

Great Plains
No. 1 Cherry Creek (CO) continues to hold onto the top spot in spite of having painted themselves into a corner in the double elimination Colorado 5A state playoffs. The Bruins battled their way back from the loser’s bracket to reach this weekend’s final four. But they run into No. 5 Highlands Ranch (CO), who has the state’s top prospect, RHP Ryan Burr, rested and ready to go in the semifinals.
No. 2 Maize (KS) looks to be the favorite to repeat in Kansas’ 6A state tournament, which kicks off this weekend. Their top challengers (on paper) are No. 7 Blue Valley West and No. 14 Olathe South (KS).
Missouri’s 4A tournament has been a wild ride thus far, with favorites falling left and right. No. 3 Liberty (MO) moves up from No. 6 last week and is the only remaining team in the final four who has spent much time in the top ten this season. They’ll face No. 13 Rockwood Summit, while the other semi will feature a Cinderalla matchup between No. 19 Parkview North and No. 21 Willard. Defending 3A champion No. 8 Westminster Christian (MO) is still alive and well and appears to be the favorite in the 3A bracket.
Nebraska crowned their state champions, with No. 9 Creighton Prep (NE) strolling to the Class A title, and No. 11 Norris (NE) taking the Class B title.
New additions this week include: No. 19 Parkview North (MO), No. 21 Willard (MO), No. 24 Broomfield (CO) and No. 25 Cedar Rapids Washington (IA).

Mid-Atlantic
South Carolina AAAA champ Ashley Ridge sits atop the rankings with runner-up Byrnes at No. 4. While the SC season is done North Carolina is in the heart of its playoffs and the northern Mid-Atlantic states of Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware just getting heavily into the playoff season.
Three Virginia teams sit in the top ten, Lake Braddock at No. 2, Western Branch at No. 5, and Hanover at No. 10. Nine teams from the Tar Heel state make the ranks with Hough the top ranked at No. 3.
Bennett is still the top ranked Maryland team at No. 8, and both Delaware and West Virginia place teams with Concord (DE) at 24 and Hurricane (WV) at 25.

Midwest
Ohio state playoffs are down to the final four in each class and the state places nine teams in the rankings including Defiance at No. 3 and Moeller at No. 7.
Illinois and Indiana playoffs are just underway and three of the top four teams are from the two states. Lake Central (IN) remains in the top spot, followed by No. 2 Mt. Carmel (IL). Providence Catholic (IL) is No. 4.
Rockford (MI) and Brother Rice (MI) are the top ranked teams in the states and are No. 12 and 17.

Northeast
Salisbury School (CT) and their impeccable 33-0 record sit in the top spot, as they have for much of the season. New York and New Jersey places the next four teams. They are, in order: Grand Street Campus (NY), Jackson Memorial (NJ), Red Bank Catholic (NJ), and Xaverian (NY).
Hopewell is the top ranked Pennsylvania team at No. 7 with fellow Quaker Staters Blackhawk at 9, Cedar Crest at 13, Malvern Prep at 17, Salisbury at 19, Nazareth at 20, and Seneca Valley at 25.
New Jersey playoffs are well underway and the other states in the region will be into playoff mode very shortly.

Northwest
One of the few constants in the northwest this season has been the dominance of No. 1 Kentwood (WA). The Conquerors continue to roll along in spite of a large target on their back, and aside from a two game slide in games that had no postseason implications, they have looked unbeatable all season. Beyond that, upsets have been the story of the postseason not only in Washington, but also in Oregon to a slightly lesser extent.
Puyallup (WA) jumps to No. 2 as their hot streak continued with a second round win over previous No. 2 Lake Stevens (WA), to move onto the Washington 4A state semifinals. Puyallup will take on No. 6 Richland in one semifinal, while Kentwood will play upstart No. 11 Beamer (WA) in the other.
Roseburg (OR) continues to remain the top ranked team in Oregon, thanks to a deep pitching staff of Division I commits, holding steady at No. 3 this week.
Idaho crowned their state champions last week, with No. 5 Rocky Mountain (5A), No. 25 Pocatello (4A) and No. 16 Fruitland (3A) all taking home titles.
New additions this week include: No. 11 Beamer (WA), No. 12 Kamiakin (WA), No. 13 Thurston (OR), No. 18 Summit (OR), No. 19 Bishop Blanchet (WA), No. 20 Kelso (WA), No. 21 South Salem (OR), No. 22 Newburg (OR), No. 24 Eastside Catholic (WA) and No. 25 Pocatello (ID).

Pacific
Last week saw massive upsets in the CIF Southern Section Division I & II playoffs. Previous No. 1 Harvard-Westlake fell to Placentia Valencia in the second round, the Wolverines were just one of five teams ranked in the top ten of last week’s poll to fall victim to upsets this week. Orange Lutheran moves up to No. 1 and Mater Dei to No. 2.
The top two teams from San Diego County occupy the No. 3 and No. 4 spots with Cathedral Catholic and El Capitan, who met in the San Diego Lions tournament’s championship game in early April, with Cathedral Catholic coming out on top. The Bay Area’s top ranked representative, Campolindo, rounds out the top five.
New additions this week include: No. 11 Newbury Park (CA), No. 12 West Ranch (CA), No. 13 Saugus (CA), No. 15 Glendora (CA), No. 16 Dougherty Valley (CA), No. 19 Bullard (CA), No. 20 South Hills (CA), No. 22 Gahr (CA) and No. 23 Clovis (CA).

Southeast
Parkview (GA) and Columbus (GA) sit one two as both look the end their seasons with state championships this weekend.
The rest of the Top 25 is littered with state title winners, Oak Grove (MS) at 3, Barbe (LA) at 4, Oxford (AL) at 10, Teurlings Catholic (LA) at 15, Calvary Baptist (LA), Archbishop Rummel (LA) at 22.
Georgia and Tennessee both crown champs this weekend with Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas all wrapped up with their HS campaigns.

Southwest
Bishop Gorman (NV) captured a Nevada 4A state record seventh consecutive state championship, extending their nation leading streak by another year. The Gaels went wire-to-wire as the No. 1 ranked team in the region, becoming the first team ever to do so since Perfect Game began publishing regional rankings at the beginning of the 2011 season.
Arizona Division I champion Chaparral finishes their season as the No. 2 team in the Southwest region, while runner-up Brophy Prep lands at No. 8. Division II champion Sunnyslope finishes at No. 5.
Upsets in the Utah state tournament leaves No. 6 American Fork as the top ranked team in the state as they get set to take on No. 13 Taylorsville in the 5A state title game. No. 18 Snow Canyon (UT) recently captured the 3A state title.
New additions this week include: No. 13 Taylorsville (UT) and No. 18 Snow Canyon (UT).

Texahoma
The postseason marches on in Texas in the UIL and the top three teams continue to survive and advance. No. 3 Tomball won game one of their regional semifinal series matchup last night, thanks to a strong performance on the mound by 2013 OF/LHP Nick Banks who struck out 11 in a complete game shutout of A&M Consolidated. Nos. 1 and 2 Calallen and CC Carroll open their series’ tonight.
No. 6 Arlington Martin finds themselves in a 0-1 hole and will have to win the next two against No. 15 LD Bell in order to keep their dream season alive. Perhaps the most exciting series of this round features No. 13 Southlake Carroll vs No. 14 El Paso Montwood.
New additions this week include: No. 11 Cypress Ranch (TX), No. 15 LD Bell (TX) and No. 18 Laredo Alexander (TX).
