New PG Player Profiles

As part of the most expansive and unparalleled player database, Perfect Game has updated the visual look of the individual player profiles while also adding new features.  In addition to the biographical and performance-based information that is available, players, parents, coaches, scouts and fans can see where players stack up as compared to their peers.

Under each performance-based result, both overall and by individual event (including 60-yard dash times and fastball, outfield, infield and catcher throwing velocities) there will be a blue “status bar” displayed which is based on an aggregate percentage.  This percentage will show where a player stacks up among his peers.

This new feature is available to Premium level PG Crosschecker subscribers.  The full contact information is available to Scout level subscribers.

As in the past, players are ranked nationally, by state and by position.  Stories featured on the Perfect Game website that pertain to the individual player will continue to be displayed on their profile, as well as any scout blog entries from the PG events they attend.

College commitments, colleges a player is considering, SAT and ACT scores as well as videos, including those taken by BaseballWebTV at Perfect Game Showcase events, are also available under a player's profile.

Players and parents will continue to have the ability to link their PG account to their respective player profile(s).  Once this connection between user and profile is made, the user has the ability to upload photographs and make changes to their contact information.
