2012 Iowa Spring League

4/19/2012 8:41:59 AM It was a great day for hitting in Ames as there were 4 players who combined for 5 home runs.  Corbin Woods (2013 - Xavier HS), Bryce Rose (2012 - Keokuk HS), Gage Carpenter (2013 - Wapello HS) and Kristofer Klabunde (2013 - Bettendorf HS) all hit home runs on the day.  Woods is a player that has good bat speed and hitting tools that project.  He's an interesting hitting prospect for the 2013 class.  Rose is an interesting player with some bat speed and some hitting tools.  Carpenter is a player with good raw bat speed and an improved approach this spring.  Klabunde is a primary pitcher who shows some hitting tools as well.
