Derek Beale (2015, OF/3B, Panther Creek HS, NC) was 1-2 in the game with a single and 2 stolen bases. He has a patient approach at the plate with solid bat speed. He showed off his instincts on the bases getting great jumps on both stolen bases.
Corey Brandenburg (2015, OF/RHP, Lucy Ragsdale HS, NC) pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, turns in delivery with good arm circle. His FB sat 79-82 MPH and mixed in a good CB that had depth at 70 MPH.
