Jonathan Schofield (2015, RHP/IF/OF, Christ Chruch Episcopal, SC) struck out 12 batters through four innings. Schofield displayed great mound presence with a quick easy arm motion and delivery. He loads his hips well and fires his arm through in his 3/4 arm slot.
Robby Kidwell, Jr. (2015, C/OF, Chopticon HS, MD) went 1-1 with a line drive single to RF that drove in a run. Kidwell featured a balanced stance with a wide base in the box and showed aggressiveness on the bases while picking up a stolen base.
Cameron Locklear (2016, SS/2B, Jack Britt HS, NC) went 1-1 with a hard hit single up the middle. Locklear hits the ball where it's pitched and once on the bases uses his speed, which is his best tool, to make something happen.
Isaiah White (2015, OF, Greenfield HS, NC) came up to the plate with an aggressive approach that paid off going 2-2 with solid contact including a ground rule double to LF. White showed plate coverage and leverage with his swing.
Nick Neville (2016, OF/SS, Lake Braddock Secondary, VA) hit a line drive double to left center in the game. Neville let the ball travel before firing his quick wrists. Neville does a good job of hitting the ball where it is thrown.
Noah Linhart (2015, RHP/1B, Hendersonville HS, NC) went after hitters with his FB, which was 80-82 MPH with a high of 83 MPH and mixed in a big looping CB at 81-83 MPH. Linhart throws from a 3/4 arm slot and posted six strikeouts in four innings on the hill.
