Michael Davis (2015, RHP/1B/3B, Hibriten HS, NC) has a tall, lean frame with room to continue to fill out. Davis maintained his velocity throughout his four innings sitting 82-85 MPH and topping out at 87 MPH on his FB, which he mixed with a 66 MPH CB and 72 MPH CH. Davis throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action.
Trevor Newman (2015, RHP/3B, Mcdowell HS, NC) lets the ball explode out of his hand on the mound as he touched 90 MPH and sat 85-88 for four innings. Newman is a max effort type guy on the mound with a short arm action that can fill up the zone with both his FB and a tight spinning SL, which was 75 MPH.
Corey Brandenburg (2015, OF/RHP, Lucy Ragsdale HS, NC) hit a hard ground ball single to the left side in his one at-bat. Brandenburg has the ability to turn on the inside pitch due in large part good bat speed.
Eric Jones (2015, C/MIF, South Mecklenburg, NC) went 1-1 with a single in the game. Jones has a compact swing and the ball jumps off his bat.
Dwanya Williams-Sutton (2015, OF, Greenfield HS, NC) is a big body athlete with present strength. He picked up a single in the game and moves very well especially for his size around the bases. His bat and speed are his best tools.
