Brett Kreyer (2016, LHP/1B, Stone Bridge HS, VA) notched seven strikeouts through three innings of work. Kreyer's FB showed good arm-side run at 81-83 MPH. Kreyer also featured a 12-6 CB at 69 MPH and a tight SL at 71 MPH. He does a good job establishing a balance point and staying on line throughout his delivery.
Zack Smith (2016, SS/RHP/C, Eastern Wayne HS, NC) has a good pitcher's build and an aggressiveness to him on the mound. The ball comes out of his arm quick and clean and he works down hill. Smith's FB hit 88 MPH and he also showed a straight CH at 74 MPH.
Trent Alley (2016, RHP/3B/1B/SS, Charlotte Country Day, NC) spots up well from his over the top arm angle. Alley keeps the ball low in the zone and has a very projectable frame to go with his compact delivery. Alley ranged from 80-85 MPH on his FB and liked going to his CB, which was 69 MPH. He also showed a CH at 73 MPH.
Colton Garland (2016, 3B/RHP/OF, Mountain Heritage HS, NC) ran good routes in the OF including a diving catch in LF. Garland has a good first step and is willing to lay out for balls.
Jacob Dellicolli (2016, C/OF, Ardrey Kell HS, NC) picked up two hits including a double in the game. Dellicolli has the ability to spray the ball around the field with his double coming to LF and his single to RF.
