The following players from the Gold and Kelly Green team stood out during batting practice during the 2014 National Underclass South Showcase.
Aaron Walters (2017 C, Kerrville, TX) shows good bat speed with a mid field approach. Projects well at plate and ball carries well off barrel.
Parker Dunn (2016 OF, Owasso, OK) has a quick line drive swing plane with lift. Showed power potential with home run.
Drake Frix (2016 C, Plainville, GA) Stays inside the ball well, has good approach and worked middle of field with line drives, had a homerun in BP.
Austin Hoffmann (2016 3B, San Antonio, TX) has an aggressive swing with good bat speed with a pull approach.
Nicholas Webre (2017 C, Youngsville, LA) has an aggressive swing and shows good gap to gap power and shows potential for more.
Justin Collins (2017 LHP, Magnolia, TX) has a short hand path to the ball with good bat speed. Squared up consistently.
