The following players from the Navy and Purple team stood out during Batting Practice at the National South Underclass Showcase.
Ben Kiefer (2016 C, Southlake, TX) Has a mid field approach and solid barrel control.
Grant McDaniel (2016 OF, Victoria, TX) has an aggressive approach with a loose easy swing, gets extended through the ball well.
Zachary Rumfield (2017 C, Robstown, TX) showed good power potential with a loose easy swing. Projects well at the plate.
Carson Childers (2016 RHP, Round Rock, TX) has good barrel control and stays on ball well.
Jordan Groshans (2018 RHP, Magnolia, TX) has an advanced approach for age, showed good hands to ball which carried well off barrel
Jonathan Windham (2017 3B, Spring, TX) showed late bat speed and ball comes of well, has power potential hitting a home run.
Will Jones (2016 LHP, Van Alstyne, TX) has strength in swing with good pull contact, hit a home run with solid barrel control.
