The following players from the Red, Royal and Steel teams stood out during batting practice at the National Underclass South Showcase.
Ronald Washington (2017 OF, Houston, TX) put on an impressive show during batting practice hitting a home run to LF on his first swing, CF during the middle of the round and RF on his last swing. Has an aggressive approach. Has plenty of tools and is exciting to watch hit.
Jacob Wyeth (2017 C, Austin, TX) showed good power potential at the plate hitting 2 home runs. Has good size and strength for age.
Logan Berlof (2016 MIF, McKinney, TX) has a projectable build and the ball jumped off his barrel
Brendan Ezell (2016 C, Edmond, OK) has a loose swing with good extension out front make good contact to the middle of the field.
Dillon Nesbit (2017 C, Spring, TX) showed good pull power and hit a home run to left field.
Evan Sack (2017 3B, Houston, TX) has lean projectable build, has good extension through ball with a easy loose finish.
