The following players stood out during the Black Teams two 5 innings game at the National Underclass South Showcase.
Alexander Stiegler (2016 RHP, Dallas, TX) has good running life on his fastball that was up to 84. He also had a hit.
Derek Wells (2016 RHP, Flower Mound, TX) was also up to 84 with his fastball. Had good control and struck out 5.
Nicholas Dayton (2016 1B, Wylie, TX) worked two innings and topped out at 82 MPH with his fastball. He also had a hit during the game.
Kyle Landers (2017 2B, Flower Mound, TX), had a good day at the plate with 2 hits including a 2B.
Dalton Davies (2016 C, Fort Worth, TX) showed good gap power with a double to RCF, he also scored a run.
Brett Wagner (2018 SS, Lake Jackson, TX) and Matthew Cooper (2017 C, Virginia Beach, VA) also had a hit for the Black Team.
