The following players stood out during the Purple Teams two 5 inning games at the National Underclas South Showcase.
Jonathan Windham (2017 3B, Spring, TX), threw three innings striking out 3 running his fastball up to 81.
Jaxx Groshans (2016 C, Magnolia, TX) had a solid day at the plate with 2 hits including a double.
Joseph Flores-King (2017 RHP, San Antonio, TX) also had two hits and a double staying inside the baseball well.
Christian Barajas (2018 OF, San Antonio, TX) had two singles and drove in a run at the plate.
Eric Bohnert (2017 OF, Cypress, TX) chipped in offensively with a double while Collin Reiter (2017 C, Frisco, TX) had a triple. Will Jones (2016 LHP, Van Alstyne, TX), Jonathan Carrillo (2017 SS, Beeville, TX), Jordan Groshans (2018 SS, Magnolia, TX), and Alexander Klitsas (2016 1B, Spring, TX) also had a hit.
