The following players stood out during the Texas Orange two 5 inning games on Sunday of the South Uncommitted Showcase.
Marshall Skinner (2016 C, Cypress, TX) threw four innings and topping at 85 with his fastball, has good upside on the mound.
Andrew Aaron Martinez (2015 SS, Cypress, TX) has a clean arm action and fastball topped at 84. He also had a hit.
Elijah MacNamee (2015 OF, Cypress, TX) was 2 for 4 at the plate, really competes on the field.
Ryan Wieligman (2015 SS, Stillwater, OK) showed good speed on the bases and had a triple to LCF.
Payton Burson (2015 OF, College Station, TX), Ricardo Silguero (2015 OF, Upland, CA), and Nick Benavides (2015 C, Mission, TX) each had a hit for the Texas Orange Team.
