Mason O’Mara worked from a low three-quarter arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action. His fastball peaked at 83 mph, working comfortably in the 78-82 mph with short run to his arm side. He works down consistently with his fastball, coming out clean and easy to the lower part of the strike zone. O’Mara also impressed with the bat, picking up both a single and double getting the barrel to the ball well.
Justin McFadden (2016 SS, Galloway, NJ) made a nice defensively play at second base today showing off his athleticism on a well hit 1-hop line drive to his left, making a nice diving play.
David LaManna (2017 C, Saddle River, NJ) impressed on both sides of the ball this morning, showing quick hands on inside fastballs turning on them for hard contact to his pull side. Behind the plate he receives very well and shows a fast transfer with a strong arm on all his throws and used his arm strength often.
Michael Cruz (OF, Springfield, MA) picked up a hard single up the middle, lining it back through the box before coming around to score. He later reach on an error and scored another run for his team.
