Geoff Beere (2017 OF, Philadelphia, PA) had a nice multi-hit game, staying inside the ball well with consistent and hard contact off the barrel, driving two singles into left field.

Steven Rullo (2016 RHP, Freehold, NJ) showed off his speed by beating out an infield single that was hit to the shortstop. Thomas Scanlon (2016 2B, Howell, NJ) also picked up a single and did a nice job of going to the opposite field, allowing the runner on second base to advance to the next base as well.

Ronald Meehan (2017 RHP, Brielle, NJ) impressed during his three innings on the mound, showing a clean and easy arm action. With a steady tempo’d delivery, Meehan topped out at 86 mph, sitting in the 81-85 mph with solid running life to his arm side. Working downhill with his fastball, Meehan also showed a curveball and changeup.

Eric Santiago (2016 SS, Bethlehem, PA) impressed during the defensive drills this afternoon with a big arm across the diamond and then took solid in game at-bats. With both a single and double, Santiago showed a solid approach with a feel for the barrel and a quick stroke through the zone.

Andrew Serrino (C  Jr., 2017, Brick) also had a multi-hit game, first singling to left field before driving a triple deep to centerfield, staying on an inside base well and meeting it with the barrel.

Charles Cardell (2016 OF, Norwood, PA) had a nice at-bat while driving an outer half fastball to the right-center field gap, picking up a double before coming around to score.

Cade Negley (2017 RHP, Butler, PA) worked in the 80-85 mph range with his fastball, showing solid run on his fastball and attacked hitters with it. His curveball showed sharp depth in the upper-60s and did a nice job of mixing in the zone, keeping hitters off balance.

The final pitcher of the game, Ian Street (2016 MIF, West Chester, PA) performed well in his one inning topping out at 82 mph with his fastball. With a quick 1-2-3 inning, Street kept hitters off balance as he showed a feel for both his knuckleball at 67 mph and his curveball at 68 which featured solid depth.
