Matt Phipps (2016, C/1B, Dublin, OH) made consistently hard contact in both at bats. He has present strength in his physical frame that translates well to the plate. He singled in his second at bat and later scored.

Noah Liles (2017, OF, Angier, NC) showed off his above average speed stealing second after singling. Liles ran a 6.84 60 during workouts.

Noah Bridges (2017, OF, Four Oaks, NC) continued to impress with the bat after a good showing in BP. Bridges posses a short compact swing. He singled on a hard line drive then stole second.

Zachary Bryon (2016, LHP, Kingsport, TN) dealt on the mound for 5 innings. In his 5 innings of work he surrendered 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 8. Bryon throws from a 3/4 arm slot with easy arm action. He has great feel on the mound, and real understands how to pitch. Bryan worked in the 80-83 range with his FB which was complimented by a 70-73 SL.

Josh Hollifield (2016, SS/3B, Weddington, NC) a VMI commit, impressed with the bat during game play and during batting practice. Hollifield has the ability to make consistently hard contact.

Jalen Jenkins (2016, LHP, Waxhaw, NC) threw 2 scoreless innings and posses the ability to keep hitters off balance. He struck out 2 over his 2 innings of work. Jenkins worked in the 70-71 range with his FB, 60-61 CB and 67 SL.

Jacob Brown (2017, RHP, Greensboro, NC) threw 3 scoreless innings while surrendering 1 hit, 0 runs and striking out 6. Brown throws from a 3/4 arm slot and with lightning quick arm speed. He has the ability to sink his FB in the 83-87 range. Brown mixed in several good SLs in the 76-79 range.
