James (Alex) Haynes (2016 RHP, Knoxville, TN) had his fastball sitting 87-90mph with it topping out at 91mph to go with a slider at 81mph and his changeup at 79mph. Haynes has good balance in his delivery pitching with good tempo throwing easy and using his lower half well.
Caleb Green (2016 OF, Metter, GA) had 2 hits in the game for the Black team including a Home Run. Green has a quick swing with pop in his bat.
Robert Rodriguez (2016 SS, Howard Beach, NY) doubled in the game for the Black team. Rodriguez has bat speed with a line drive swing plane.
Luis Alvarez (2016 SS, New York, NY) also had 2 hits in the game for the Black team. Alvarez has a short compact swing with good bat speed and the ball jumps off his bat.
Harrison Boozer (2016 LHP, Bessemer, AL) topped out at 87mph on his fastball with a slider at 75mph and his changeup at 76mph. Boozer has a smooth delivery with a repeatable delivery. His fastball gets on hitters quick and he did a good job of mixing his pitches keeping hitters off-balance.
Mason Meadows (2016 C, Roswell, GA) had a good showing at the plate today including hitting a double for the Cardinal team. Meadows does a good job of staying inside of the ball with pop in his bat and has good plate coverage.
