Marshall Skinner (2016 C, Cypress, TX) topped out at 86mph with his fastball today to go along with his curveball at 69mph and his changeup at 75mph. Skinner pitches from an extended 3/4 arm slot with good command and did a good job of mixing in his pitches for his 1 inning of work.
Cameron Greer (2016 2B, West Bloomfield, MI) had a multi-hit game for the Gold team today. Greer has a sound approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and shows bat speed.
Zachary Cable (2016 C, Roswell, GA) also had a multi-hit game for the Gold team including a double. Cable does a good job of staying inside the ball making hard contact and has bat speed.
Matt Mullinax (2016 1B, Calhoun, GA) had 2 singles in the game for the Steel team. Mullinax has pop in his bat and made hard line drive contact in the game today.
Derek Matta (2016 SS, San Juan, PR) also had 2 singles for the Steel team today. Matta has an aggressive confident approach at the plate with a level swing and shows bat speed.
Davis Schwartz (2016 3B, Atlanta, GA) had 2 hits in the game for the Steel team including a double. Schwartz is a gap to gap hitter with bat speed and the ball carries well off his bat.
